Theme: Rustic Holiday

Rustic Holiday

Adjective: rustic
"the unblemished charm of rustic life has been a perennial source of inspiration for the artist"

Similar:
* natural, rough, aged and casual, imperfect, rural, country, countryside, pastoral, agricultural, made in a plain and simple fashion, incorporates earthy elements
* having a simplicity and charm that is considered typical of the countryside, bucolic landscapes, animals and wildlife, unpretentious, a connection to the past
* depicts what is natural, aged, organic and maybe even a little distressed
* earthy and natural colors, raw materials, textural
* cozy, easy and comfortable, warm and inviting

opposite of modern:
* primitive, unrefined, and weathered
* not complicated, fussy, or polished - this can mean lots of texture with the use of raw or unfinished materials, or perhaps a simplified color palette, using mostly neutral colors

Rough around the edges? Perfect! Show us your interpretation of rustic for the holidays!
