Of a Feather
“Of a Feather” is a Monotype Hybrid Print. After inking a plain plexiglass plate, I made several passes through the press onto fine art paper as I created this image, adding more colors of ink with each pass. Then I digitally printed the birds and fence which I had created in photoshop over the monotype background. This print charmingly portrays four finches on a barbed wire fence peacefully looking out over the field they inhabit.
