Solitude VII

“Solitude VII” is a Collograph Hybrid Print. I created a collograph plate by applying acrylic medium onto a piece of mat board and texturizing it. Once thoroughly dry, I inked the plate and printed it onto fine art paper using my press. Then I digitally printed the trees which I had extracted from a photo I took in the White Mountains of Arizona onto the pulled print. This resulted in a natural, rustic landscape with a basic color palate.
